About Shulamite

    The story behind Shulamite Publishing House began in 2004, when one of our founders hosted a women's radio program on the internet.  During the course of the show's broadcasts, she hosted a four part series that she dubbed, "From Hoochie To Holy".  Later the show became the inspiration for our initial book offering as women's overwhelming need for sexual and relational healing in the body of Christ became more evident.

     In the months which followed, the idea of a publishing company began to be born with the Song of Solomon 8:8-10 as the central theme of what the company would accomplish for Christian women's studies.  We began to expand our definitions of how our publishing house could serve ALL of the body of Christ, and soon expanded our ideas beyond the simple concepts of a "women's" publisher. Shulamite Publishing House began recruiting writers in August 2006, and began building business and web based relationships.  Shulamite operates on Christian principles and seeks to build up men, women, marriages and families of all backgrounds.

     Today, Shulamite Publishing House is a viable small publishing house nestled in the heart of North Texas. We serve independent authors, the small business community, the Christian community and community based organizations with a variety of professional writing, editing and publishing services. We are not structured as a 501(c)3 organization, but regularly contribute to a variety of non-profits to help build up our community.
